TurnMasterBrowserOff

Turn Master Browser Off W2K Pro

The Master Browser keeps the knowledge of what systems are on the network for all other Windows Network machines in a workgroup or domain windows network. Sometimes this might cause problems especially if this service is off on all PC networked or a later windows operating system i.e. W2K Pro with NT PDC and BDC are fighting with the newer "kid on the block"

Here is how to turn the Master Browser Off or On

Go to your control panel in administrative tools and select services. In services right click on computer browser and select properties. Here you can turn the service OFF or ON.
