Add a User
If LDAP is NOT installed then users have to be added to both Unix and Samba by doing this - First Unix:
# useradd joe
# passwd joe
Now Samba
# smbpasswd -a joe
How Do I Get SAMBA to Start on Boot Up?
/sbin/chkconfig --level 345 smb on
How Do I Get Bind to Start on Boot Up?
chkconfig named on
